Former Doctor Charged with Sexual Assault Charges Involving 38 Patients
Legal authorities have announced that a ex- doctor now faces charges for performing assaults involving 38 individuals who were patients.
The Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous sexual offences – including acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
One senior prosecutor commented, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what investigators called a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors said the forty-five charges he is charged with:
- 15 counts of assault.
- 17 counts of assault by penetration.
- 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- Three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
